For this space, I aimed at designing quite a controlled and refined geometrical structure so as to reflect Florence Nightingale’s core ideas of refining and condensing thoughts into well considered actions.
I applied relatively pure white light so as to draw the viewer into a space where Florence's feelings can be considered and distilled, as well as to exaggerate the rectangular cut-outs in the walls and roof by framing them with illumination.
